I am having a serious obsession with these pants in Chloe's new Fall ads. I have searched high and low, trying to find some lookalikes for less than what I paid for my laptop and have been unsuccessful. I can only dream that one day I will find them hidden for half price at a designer vintage shop in Soho....

Starbucks

Although I am not a fan of the taste of coffee or tea (although I would like to be if anyone has suggestions of something they like that isn't too strong), I would probably buy more drinks there if someone took the time to do this to every cup of coffee, although I do realize it must be time consuming. If I worked at Starbucks I think I would write just one happy/inspirational line on everyone's coffee cup. Little surprises like that can brighten everyones day :)

A Nice Cool One

No, a nice cool one is not referring to a beer. It is ice cream. There is nothing that I enjoy more than a a great sherbet on a hot summer's day, which we've had a lot of in DC lately.

Everyone wants to be a kid again at times. I am considering making my own jar of Fairy Dust purely for my own amusement.

Hitched

On my little excursion to Georgetown today I passed by the cutest bridal boutique called Hitched on Wisconsin Avenue. I have promised myself that I will go there to try on dresses if I ever talk some poor sap into putting a ring on my finger. I went online to look and some of the dresses they carry and found this Oscar de la Renta one. I think it would be perfect for something outdoors. Collette Dinnigan

One of my favorite things about Fashion Week is discovering new designers. Sure I still get butterflies when I'm clicking through the latest Valentino show (who has created some beautiful cocktail dresses for this Fall 2010 season), but nothing compares to the feeling of being blown over by a beautiful collection by a not so famous designer. This season it's Collette Dinnigan. With a collection of all black, navy, white, and a ton of gorgeous lace, this collection has 1950's flair, but it's not over the top. The WonderPurse

Attention All: I am officially a Kate Spade addict. And it took a one black hobo bag, one vintage pink clutch, one royal blue wallet, one pair of black and kelly green eyeglasses, and one apple green Blackberry case for me to realize. Every one of their stores is beautiful (pictured). Their heels are perfect for any wedding or spring garden party. And their stationary is TO DIE FOR, however pricey (12 cards with envelopes for $30). I strongly suggest everyone have a Kate Spade bag. In my black hobo, which I have carried everywhere for almost three years and only needs a bit of restitching on one handle, I can fit my wallet, phone, small day planner, light sweater, and a copy of "Anna Karenina". I'm not kidding people. These are Wonderpurses.
