12 Beauty Products You Actually Need

1. Cleanse
My favorite wash, made for every skin type and tones. The easiest way to wipe away the makeup and sweat of the day, plus it smells like a day at the spa!

2. Polish
This is my favorite body scrub of all time. It smells just like fresh strawberries on a summer day!

3. Moisturize
Since my favorite facial moisturizer has been discontinued (Benefit's Dear John moisturizer. Tear tear.) I found myself a substitute. This Olay moisturizer has UV protection, a must in my book, and has the great thick and creamy consistency as my old favorite.

4. Conceal
The best concealer. Hands down. Get a shade for under your eyes and/or for touch ups.

5. Look Pretty
I just got this lip balm the other week and it's quite sheer and has a little bit of glitter in it. Great to just swipe and go.

6. Look Real
Use this is a mascara for a natural look but also use it on your brows to even them out and keep them in place.

7. Feed Addiction
Chapstick is the ultimate addiction but it's great for your lips! Splurge on this everyday essential with Fresh's Sugar balm, that smells like lemon sugar!

8. Look Alive
Cargo Bronzer at Ulta
This is my favorite bronzer, the brand unfortunately is not carried by Sephora anymore, but you can still find it in Ulta.
9. Look More Alive
No need to drop big bucks on blush, Covergirl Cheekers works great at around $4. I love Rose Silk.

10. Glow
Everyone needs a good body lotion to keep your looking and feeling healthy. This is my favorite, but I also love any Johnson & Johnson's lotion as well.

11. Smell Good
I love perfume and this one is great for spring with pink peony, freesia, lychee, magnolia flower, lilly of the valley, rose, cedarwood, amber, and honey.

12. No, Really
This great deodorant also comes in the same great vanilla noted scents that their perfumes come in. My favorite in Vanilla Grapefruit

Finally, Unretouched!

Finally! An unretouched ad for makeup! Make Up For Ever has released an ad, unretouched, and I think it looks great. This is the foundation that I use, (I am not just giving them a plug, I swear, I love this stuff). Even though it is $40, foundation is one makeup product you should not feel guilty about splurging on. You'd be surprised how much of a difference an amazing concealer and foundation can do. Go to a Sephora store near you and try stuff on. Find your favorite type (liquid, powder, cream, tinted moisturizer is great for the summer) and your closest shade. A great foundation can help keep your pores more clear too!

This photo makes me wish that I had her life. Shopping in a wicked cute outfit with perfect hair, a Chanel purse, and a recent Dior purchase. And sherbet. Most of all sherbet. If only I had her singing voice as well, beautifully showcased in the Phantom of the Opera (2004). Check it out below.
