When exploring the Washingtonian's website (it's the official magazine of Washington D.C for those who don't know), I came across an article which completely made my day; A list of the best places in the D.C area to smooch your Valentine. The spots include the Spanish Steps, Constitution Gardens Lake, US National Arboretum, Uptown Theater, United States Botanical Garden, Jefferson Memorial and Tidal Basin, and the Alexandria Waterfront.
