This 1998 Best Picture (Academy Awards) winning romance stars Gwyneth Paltrow, who won Best Actress (Academy Awards) for the role and Joseph Fiennes as William Shakespeare and Viola, his true love who inspires him to write his most famous play, Romeo & Juliet. Not only is this a great film in general (it has love, comedy, drama, and murder) but if you know your Shakespeare, it's interesting to see how the film makers worked Shakespeare's other plays into the film. This film also stars big names like Geoffrey Rush, Ben Affleck, and Judi Dench (Best Supporting Actress winner for the film). Watch the trailer below.
