That Was Quick.

You've probably heard by now that yesterday, October 31st 2011, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries. Sources from Yahoo! say that the reason for the divorce was from many factors; The couple wasn't getting along. Living in the same home as her sister Kourtney and her boyfriend Scott along with their toddler in NYC was not an "ideal" living situation (News Flash: Not every day in a marriage is ideal). Kris was still not getting along with all the members of the family, which would definitely be a problem since Kim is so family oriented. Yahoo! also reported that Kris was unaware that Kim was filing for divorce and found out the same way we all did; on the internet. Kris made a statement saying that he feels blindsided and devastated and Kim says that she feels like she made a mistake getting married. 

Are you shocked? I'm not. 

Jennifer Lopez in Vanity Fair

In her first interview since the announcement of her divorce, Jennifer Lopez talked to Vanity Fair as their September cover girl. She did not respond to the rumors that Marc Anthony, her husband, had become very controlling in the relationship, so much that he had final say in some of her wardrobe choices, but she did say that she still believes in love and that "Sometimes we don't realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself -- if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me," she says. "I love myself enough to walk away from that now."

You go girl. I have so much respect for her, she truly is a role model.
